Any home treatments to avoid gum grafting?
I have severe gum recession (thankfully no bone loss) and while I am getting back on track with proper care of my teeth and gum, I have unfortunately done a lot of damage. The dentist states I will need some grafting done on the worst areas. I hear this is extremely painful and would like to avoid it at all costs.
Are there any homeopathic things I can try to heal these enough so I might not need the grafting? I am searching online and finding things called White Oak Bark (Powdered); Dr. Schulze’s tooth and gum formula; Camu Camu; Ioxan; Goldenseal powder; Vicco (Vajradanti) Pure Herbal Tooth Powder. Do any of these things work and how do I use them properly?

get a water pic and use it regularly. at first keep the pressure low/med since you are already pretty sensitive. swish daily with listerine- the green is good. and also use warm water in the water pic and at least 2times a week when the water gets down to about 1inch add some listerine to it and try to aim for between the teeth and gums to flush anything that might be down in there. I have seen some really drastic results from this. Oh and keep the water pic clean- ie: Hold up the unit and the wand down to drain it when done and let the tank and tip dry on a clean washcloth. Listerine is the only one that kills germs so don’t waste your time and money on other brands. besides that, I would only use salt water to swish with or use aloe(only straight from the plant) or you can buy aloe juice to swish and swallow and soak a cotton ball with the juice or gel from the plant only and tuck the cotton w/aloe against the gums. don’t use the gel you buy for sunburn- that won’t work and you can’t put that stuff in your mouth.
