Anyone know the meaning of these stuffs in Chinese?
My friends and I are studying a play written by a guy from Singapore. Most part of the play is in English, but there are still some words in some Chinese dialect (not sure which one) which seem to be incomprehensive for us (since none of us speak Chinese – -*)
So if there’s anyone who knows the meaning of these Chinese poem and words, could you please help me out??
Or the Chinese characters version would be appreciated.
‘Ah Por, ngor tong lwi dam guat leh’
‘tow yen’
‘Dam dam going
Yeh ji gip sun going
Gai dan lou mai sap mm liong
Hong mou for toi gip min bau
Jow dou san bar lor yeh jiong
Dit lok lei
Bei gai Diong’
and the last one which seems to be the most difficult one. If any of you can only rewrite it all in the Chinese hanzi, that would already be kind of you…
‘Jin re he qian zi
Xin gwan dwei jyou gwan
Xiao ti ju by gan
Fang xin zwo ren nan’
Thanks in advanced!
