What’s a SURE FIRE way to fix self esteem, self image, and self respect ?
I’ve tried everything. Affirmations, Hypnosis CDs, Subliminals, EMDR (Although I never completed the therapy.) What’s a SURE FIRE way that I can improve these areas ? I’m even willing to other hypnosis/subliminal/affirmation/etc. programs, as long as they ABSOLUTELY work. Can anyone help me ?
I think what a lot of people are trying to say in different ways is: you build self-esteem based on what you do. When you become good at something that matters to you, or you contribute in an area that makes a difference (it almost doesn’t matter what), then you start getting self esteem. It is really hard to get self esteem just thinking about yourself all day and not doing anything that you’re proud of. Ironically it takes *not* thinking about yourself all the time to learn to think well of yourself.
