Well I’ve had them on pizza and in Japanese soups . . they taste a bit rubbery, so I like the portabella more . . if you mean in relationship to cancer . . the biggest caution about reishi or any type of mushroom is that these should be avoided if a cancer patient has an allergy to mold. Patients on blood thinners should also avoid reishi mushrooms since it can intensify the medications. Otherwise check with your regular oncologist to make sure the stuff does not interfere with traditional treatments . . and than sprinkle them on the pizza and enjoy. If you buy them be aware that no regulations exist for these items so you never know exactly what you are buying, where it originates, or if it is what it claims to be.
