Cost for these flowers and a wedding?
Would anyone happen to know if it would be expensive to have white lotus and pink lotus flowers at a wedding?
Lotus blooms are a superior specialty bloom and not every florist can get them from their distributor. Being a florist myself, I would suggest that you give your florist at least 2-3 months notice if you want to use Lotus….and don’t expect anything for sure. They are going to be outrageous in price if they can get them….I would plan on spending anywhere from $25-$40 per bloom if not more.
A good fresh-cut substitute would be Gardenia ($12-20 per bloom) or have your florist create what they call a “composite rose”…there are also some varieties of Protea that can resemble a Lotus but not exactly. Other than that…you may want to just buy the silk/artificial versions of them and have your florist work them in with other flowers.
