How can I send this in the (postal) mail?
I have a penpal overseas (in Holland, actually) and his birthday’s coming up, so I thought it would be nice to send him a little something in the mail. I was thinking a silicone (at least I think it’s silicone) bracelet, like the “LiveStrong” ones by Lance Armstrong. I’ll buy it tomorrow, but I just wanted to know how I could send it in the mail? Is there any way of ensuring that it would get to him? I don’t mind how long it takes to actually get there, but as long as it gets there safely, I don’t mind 
any suggestions? should I use a special envelope? Maybe I should write a small note on the outside saying “contents: silicone bracelet (whatever)”. When my uncle sent me a dog tag necklace in the mail he had done this. He wrote “contains dog tag pendant” on the outside.
Wrap in a small box, write From: and To: like you would a letter. Take it to the post office. They will ask if there is anything dangerous. Tell them you want delivery confirmation. They will give you the options.
