Is there an English name derived from IMMORTELLE?
It is a flower name, its Latin expresion is HELICHRYSUM ARENAIUM. I am just wondering is there a femail name with the same meaning?!
As this means “immortal” or “everlasting” (I think it is the Everlasting Flower because you can dry them), off hand I can’t think of one. The most famous male variant is of course Athanasius, after the saint. Two places I searched for female equivalents came up with unusual names:
