What’s a carrier oil that’s not too hard to find?
I have essential lavender oil I want to use on my face for acne but need a carrier oil. Please help!
Almond oil is available online as well as in high end grocery stores and health food stores.
Almond oil eases dryness, itching and inflamation.
Hazelnut oil is pretty easy to find, although freshness may be an issue. Hazlenut has great transdermal absorption and is a great addition to a blend.
Jojoba is very close to the sebum we produce, for that reason it can be a helpful addition to any skin care regimen.
Sunflower is very light weight and is full of fatty acids and vitamins.
Red Raspberry Seed oil is full of good stuff for your skin. In my experience it is a bit too drying to use straight.
Lavender is an appropriate addition to a blend for acne. There are different kinds of Lavender, be aware of what you are using. There are many essential oils that can be used in a regimen to treat acne.
