The Dependable Xerox 4400 Printer

The printing starts in about eleven seconds, and then will print 26 ppm with 1,200 dpi, giving you fast speeds with crystal clear images.
The printer installs easily onto any computer, and you do not need to know the IP address for the printer to have it placed on your workgroup. It connects via an Ethernet connection, and is user friendly enough that computer skill and knowledge are not required for use. If the paper or toner gets low, there is an alert that can inform that it needs to be attended to, which comes on the computer screen.
The paper tray is able to hold a full ream of paper at one time. It will also feed from the tray different weights of paper, and the range is 16 to 133 pounds, including bond and card stock, without the need of additional equipment. You an use standard A4 paper and legal size, or create your own custom sized paper to print on. You can purchase an optional envelope feeder, which makes this able to perform all the printing you need to do.
The printer is a high capacity printer and can do up to 150,000 pages per month. There are two Xerox ink and toner options, with the standard producing 10,000 pages and the high capacity giving you 15,000 pages from one toner. These can be found in office supply stores at a reasonable price, so the consumables are not a problem when needing to be replaced.
They also offer extra features on the printer to make this even easier to use. You can use the pop up alert to find out why a printing job has not been completed and the PhaserSMART online help can identify problems through their troubleshooter. Printing is also easier with extra options like printing from a PDF document and edge to edge printing.
This printer is no longer being manufactured anymore, but it can still be found, most likely in a pre-owned condition. Toners are widely available at many stores still. The company is also still supporting drivers, so they can be installed and updated as needed.
This is widely considered to be the best black and white printer on the market. The Xerox Phaser 4400 printer does a variety of printing at a fast pace and will be able to handle a heavy load. It is exceptionally user friendly, which makes this a perfect choice for offices that need to do a lot of printing with a dependable model even if the staff is not knowledgeable in computer technology.
